Help!

As the Don’t Panic empire continues to expand we’re looking for some reliable pairs of hands to help out with forthcoming events.

Unfortunately we’re not in a position to offer any full time posts at present but we would like to hear from people who are possibly event management or PR students who would be available on a part time basis.

Ideally you’d be North West based, well organised and keen to gain an insight into the world of event management. In return we can offer occasional work on some great conferences and events and we’ll even pay you for your time!

If this is of interest please e-mail andrew@dontpanicprojects.com and tell us a bit about yourself.

Sorry, but I am not really available right now - especially the North West criterion is a bit of a problem. But: will you still need me when I'm sixty-four? :-D

Stuart - thanks ever so much for your post, our stats are going crazy!

Serge - I know you've got a ticket to ride the long and winding road but if you ever fancy becoming a day tripper I'm sure we can work it out!

Hey Andrew - Do you want to know a secret? I guess that in my life we could someday come together, provided I can carry my weight all the way up there. And with a little help from my friends, I'm sure I could make my old brown shoes roll me over beethoven, way up to that lonely hearts club where you hang out...

Seriously now - what I forgot to ask: would you also be looking for trainees/interns (or however you call them)? Our college is always on the lookout for companies and organisations (also abroad) to send final-year students off to in order to do their internship (3 months - March, April, May). They would, of course, have to have something to do (so there should be some work there) and I cannot guarantee there WILL be (a) student(s) coming over, but I'm sure I could convince one or two when I tell them about you :-) ...

Serge,

we'd love to take on a work experience placement and have already been approached by universities with events management courses. Unfortunately we just don't have the office space as yet although we're keen to look at the possibility of moving to a farm house where we could convert an outbuilding into Don't Panic HQ.

I'll let you know when we're in a position to take on a student as we'd happily extend the opportunity to our Belgian friends.

Oh, how I wish I was northwest based! If you ever need hands in the southwest, this PR, sponsorship, and events grad-student would love the experience. Thanks!

Jessica,

many thanks and we'll bear you in mind should we ever be working in the southwest. Good luck with your degree!
